Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

California's only beachside amusement park is only a minute away from the Howard Johnson Santa Cruz at the Pier.  This would be a wonderful opportunity for you to enjoy your trip since it is only walking distance away!!  The Boardwalk includes 34 rides and attractions and dozens of restaurants, shops, and games.  It is admission free and ticket prices vary for rides.

Museum of Art and History

Museum of Art and History is a non-profit educational institution that was established in 1996 to promote a greater understanding of contemporary art and the history of Santa Cruz County.  This museum features exhibitions, educational programs, family activities and tours.  There is a fee charged for admission however, first Friday of each month, the admission is free.
